Asset Class Current Rating (0-10, 0 is poor) Long-Run Expected Return Risk (Return in a Difficult Year) Reviews
US Stocks 8.0 12% -20% After the large decline in stocks, the stock market is actually undervalued.  Many large-cap stocks have relatively low PE ratios.
US Small Stocks 7.5 14% -30% With some of the "excess" taken out of the market, investors should "hold" and/or "accumulate" stocks of technology and smaller cap firms.  Some technology stocks are still overvalued, but worth a look...
Foreign Stocks 8.5 14% -30% Asian and European stocks look good compared to their US counterparts.  In particular, Japan looks like it will lead the way as their economy attempts a recovery.
Money Market 8.5 5% 3% A good place to park money needed in the short-term.
Short-Term Bonds 9.0 6% 0% A good intermediate sector to place some assets.
Long-Term Bonds 8.5 8% -10% As the FED eases, bonds should perform decently.
